The matte version is directly off the printer, while the gloss version receives an additional heat polish step to help hide the layer lines. While it does not completely remove the signs that this was 3D printed, the heat polishing better prepares the surface to receive paint if that is your plan with this product.

Both varieties come with three small patches of 3M extreme mounting tape pre-applied, which sticks well against metal and powder coated surfaces. Please place a custom order through the contact page if you don't want that pre-applied.
